Full-Time Account Executive


    Summary of Position

  • Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Establish, develop, and maintains relationships with clients by providing support information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-ofthe- art practices; participating in professional societies; using company literature and available training resources.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Works closely with marketing team to create and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, pricing, and potential for new products and services.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Attend tradeshows with intention of creating and developing client relationships.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Approximately 3-5 years’ work experience in sales.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales quotas.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Work experience in hospitality industry a plus.

    Minimum Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals with differing knowledge levels.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to go above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented.
  • The ability to solve problems effectively and independently if necessary.
  • Dedication to customer service is a must.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and great team player.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office products.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in project priorities.
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Be available to travel up to 40% of the year to both domestic and international customer sites and tradeshows with limited advanced notice.

    Preferred Competencies

  • Work experience in hospitality industry a plus.

    Working Conditions

  • Constantly communicate with prospects and clients regarding solutions, pricing, and technical information. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Frequently needs to move about during sales presentations, tradeshows, and networking events.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of working day during sales presentations, tradeshows, and networking events.
